At Brandon First, we feel that it’s our responsibility to make it easier for you to attend church. We want you to be able to experience the transforming music, inspired messages, friendly people and relaxed atmosphere that make First United Methodist Church of Brandon so special. We know that your first time at a new church brings up a few questions. How do I get there? When do services start? What should I wear? What’s available for my kids? It is our hope that this section will help you get more comfortable with Brandon First. And encourage you to want to get to know us even better.

HOW DO I GET THERE?

WHEN DO SERVICES START?

SUNDAY SERVICE TIMES
8:00AM -   Traditional
9:30AM -   Contemporary Service
11:00AM - Traditional Service with Full Choir and Orchestra

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
We leave that up to you. There is no dress code, and you will see people attending in various attire, from casual to dressy. The importance is not on what you wear, but that you are here to worship.

What's Available For My KidS?
We have numerous programs for our children and youth, including nursery facilities available during each service and Sunday school. See the ministries section for more detailed information about our children and youth programs.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe that lost people matter to God and that they ought to matter to the Church.

We believe...

… that the Church should be biblically based while being culturally relevant.

… that excellence honors God and inspires people.

… that the Christian life is a journey, which includes the regular practice of spiritual habits.

… that life-changes best occur in small groups with authentic and accountable relationships.

… that all Christians need to discover and use their Spiritual gifts.

… that all Christians are called to live out their faith in worship to God and in service to others.
