•Graduate sunday and End of School Beach Bash - May 20th - We honor the students graduating high school and college at the 9:30am
service and host a party for our high school graduates to introduce them to the college ministry. Come celebrate with
us on the beach that afternoon! Noon till 9 p.m. - FREE There’s no better way to celebrate the end of
school and beginning of summer like a day in the sun! Family is welcome. After the Breakfast Club we will ride
together down to beautiful Coquina Beach in Bradenton for a day of hanging out in the sun and surf. Bring a lunch to
eat on the road and snacks and sodas to share. We are grilling on the beach for dinner, plan some cash to make a
stop for shakes at “the Shake Pit” in Bradenton on our way home.
•Key Largo Retreat - June 11th-16th - Our annual pilgrimage to Amy Slate’s Dive resort in the beautiful Florida
Keys. Our senior high students spend the week snorkeling on beautiful reefs, watching amazing sunsets, laughing with
friends, worshiping deeply and growing spiritually. If you are interested in going there May be some available space if
you contact the office ASAP.
•Summer Leesburg Camp for 6 - 12th grades - June 11th-16th - $335 for the week of fun and exciting activities,
new friends and strengthened faith. Go to www.umsummercamp.org to sign up today!
•Middle School Mission Trip - Week of Hope St Petersburg, FL - June 24th-30th 2007. The week will include
spending time and attention on the many retirees and elderly, serving meals in homeless shelters, and offering day
camps and vacation Bible schools in area churches and community centers.
•Senior High Mission Trip - Week of Hope Manassas, VA - June 21-July 1st, 2007 - We will be working with Group
Work Camps again on a “Week of Hope.” The team from 2006 came home touched by God and blessed by the
opportunity to serve others in Christ’s name. If you are interested in going there May be some available space if you
contact the office ASAP.
•Vacation Bible School - July 9-13 - Students from the ministry serve the church and community by leading VBS.
Sign up with the Children’s ministry to be a part of the team.
•Canoe Safari - Sunday, July 22nd - $12 - Brave the wild rapids of the mighty Alafia river! After the Breakfast
Club we will head south to Alafia Outfitters for a great day on the river - Pack plenty of snacks, water to drink,
sunscreen and a hat.
•Ginnie Springs - Friday, July 27th - 7am-10pm - $20 - Come join us for a great day in God’s creation.
Snorkel in crystal clear springs, tube down the river and enjoy God’s amazing creative genius. Bring lunch and lots of
drinks and snacks to share. We will be grilling dinner before we head back home.
•Beach Party - Sunday, August 19th Noon-7pm - FREE - The Final Farewell to Summer This is our last beach
trip of the season. School starts the next day, so we will be back earlier than usual, but we need to savor the last few
moments of sumer while they are still here.
