The Technical Arts department supports all of the various ministries in the church with their audio, visual, and production needs. Volunteer positions are available on a regular, rotation, or as needed basis. Call and let us know what your passions are, and I’m sure we’ll have a place that fits your schedule and your talents. And in all areas, experience is not a necessity!
Sincerely,
Stuart C. Mackey

Overview
Audio
The Audio team volunteers maintain and operate Brandon First’s various sound systems. From mixing sound at Sunday morning services, to re-soldering cables and connectors, see what the Audio team has to offer! See volunteer opportunities
Lighting
Lighting allows us to focus and enhance particular parts of the stage, and works with all other departments to enhance the mood of the service. Lighting directors operate the level of the lights, and spot operators can help follow the action. Check out the fast growing lighting team! See volunteer opportunities
Staging
With varied tools and props that drama, music and our teaching pastors require, how do we make sure the right things are in the right place at the right time? With our Stage team! Stage Managers and team members help set drama props and teaching aids on stage, as well as take them out of the way when they’re no longer needed. The Stage Manager also plays a critical role in communicating between the teams in the booth, and the teams on and around the stage. Let us know if you can help! See volunteer opportunities
Video
Video is playing an increasing role in today’s complex services. This team is especially diverse, ranging from those who execute the cues at services, to those behind the scenes creating graphics and lyrics, and shooting and editing videos. See volunteer opportunities
Production/Pre-Production
Producers and Assistant Producers help design service elements, and see that things are coordinated between the various teams prior to the service. They also help with creating critical "Cue Sheets," so that all our volunteers and staff are on the same page come "show time." If you have strong administration gifts, this is your team!
